Rate changes to your PSE&G electric bill

Changes to our Energy Aggregation Program Pricing
April 17, 2020

If you are a PSE&G customer participating in our town wide Energy Aggregation Program, you should have received a letter dated April 17, 2020 from our supplier, Direct Energy. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission recently approved an increase in the transmission rates in the PSE&G territory which has raised costs to all energy suppliers. These costs can be "passed through" as part of our contract. Therefore, you will see a rate increase in March from $.11673 per kwh to $.12116 per kwh and again in June from $.12116 to $.12882 per kwh.

Since these contract price adjustments match the increases in PSE&G's tariff price for power supply, you will continue to enjoy the savings you are currently experiencing as part of our energy aggregation program.
